Anyone who works in communications, marketing, journalism, or any field requiring storytelling knows that the most effective way to get your story across is through good visuals. A picture says 1,000 words, as they say. We’re delighted to be introducing Joseph to you. He’s a talented storyteller and filmmaker bringing his imagination and his equipment (he’s got a lot) to Team Jelly as our new multimedia specialist. For this Meet the Team Monday, get to know a bit more about Joseph.
What do you do at Jelly?
My title is the Multimedia Specialist, but I am story-teller and filmmaker at heart.
What’s your favourite memory of Jelly so far?
I have been here for 3 hours and the best part has been seeing everyone’s reaction to the amount of gear and equipment I brought in. Everyone has a laptop and notebook maybe, whereas, I brought a 50lb PC, 3 screens, and filming equipment & Camera:). (He did, we were impressed).
What’s your spirit animal and why?
My spirit is a bird. My last name means “a small bird.” like a Jackdaw if you research the name. Also, a little bird in some first nation cultures, as I have discovered, means discovery, creativity, and sharing. Being first nations, this has personal meaning to me.
What’s one thing you’re going to bring to Team Jelly?
I think I would bring storytelling through filmmaking and video marketing.
What’s your favourite flavour of Jelly?
My favourite flavour has always been yellow.
