The best things come in pairs, so they say. For this #MeetTheTeamMonday, we’d like you to meet Jody, one half of the awesomeness that is Jelly’s social media team. Jody is a cracker of jokes, a bundle of joy and a social savvy superstar who’s bringing a wealth of experience (and one-liners) to the table. We’re pretty stoked she’s here and would love for you to get to know her as well.
What do you do at Jelly?
I’m the latest addition to Jelly’s social media team! Waa hoo! I love bringing brands and clients together. As a Social Media Coordinator, I get to help build these dynamic relationships online. I’ll also be supporting our Digital Ads and PR teams, which is pretty awesome.
What’s your favourite memory of Jelly so far?
Walking through the front door on my first day. Warm, happy people greeted me with a friendly “good morning”. And if that wasn’t fantastic enough, Darian had created a personalized sign that he place in the front entry reading, “Welcome Jody”.
I mean, come on.
How nice is that?! I instantly felt like I belonged here.
What’s your spirit animal and why?
I want to tell you that I identify with an animal that’s either like, super adorable and cuddly, or super powerful and strong. But instead, I’ll give you the truth.
My spirit animal is a platypus.
All the way.
I’m one whole creature made up of many different parts. I naturally have a bunch of different interests and skills. All those parts of me work together and allow me to adapt to a variety of different environments and situations.
What’s one thing you’re going to bring to Team Jelly?
Curiosity.
I’m pretty jazzed to be on team Jelly and learn about all the roles in the organization.
I am also pretty jazzed about digital marketing. The online landscape is constantly shifting. To stay fresh, you have to stay curious. I love to try new things, learn new things, and figure out how to maximize digital tools and platforms.
What’s your favourite flavour of Jelly?
I like them all – except marmalade.
Which ya, I know, isn’t even a jelly. But I figure I should fully disclose just in case you were thinking about gifting me some tasty toast spreads.
