What does a typical work day look like?

A typical work day – I don’t even know what that is! My day usually starts with a workout, and from there I’ll go into my big project of the day. In the afternoon, I take meetings, calls, interviews, and tackle my inbox. I always check in with my team at least a couple times a day, if not more to make sure that we’re all on the same page.

What keeps you motivated and passionate?

I love what I do, I always have. I have a passion for broadcasting messages and helping people. I love seeing their wins, big and small. That’s what keeps me going, and seeing that I’m helping in some way, shape, or form. I think that’s what’s always gonna drive me, is helping people.

What’s your personal motto?

“Why the hell not?”. It has a few different contexts. The first one is kind of like “YOLO”, as in trying things and seeing what happens. The other meaning is that I have a hard time taking no for an answer. I’ll continue to ask why until I understand why we truly can’t do something, or I get my way and we end up doing it.

What’s the biggest challenge in your role?

My biggest challenge is probably making sure that I’m serving all aspects of my job, and that there’s clarity of what we’re trying to achieve. Also, prioritizing my responsibilities and our responsibilities as a team, and finding the time to do it all.

What’s your favourite app? Why?

Right now, probably IFTTT. It makes my job a lot easier, and I like to call it my ‘personal assistant’. It helps me schedule things, and set up shortcuts between social media platforms. It makes things go a lot smoother, and saves me some time. Anything that can save me time I’m a big fan of.

What’s your favourite flavour of jelly?

Raspberry! That’s 100% my favourite. I could eat it on it’s own!
