What’s your favourite memory from the new space so far?

Oh man, there are so many! For one thing, I’m close to home. I’ve got a nine year old son and a two and a one-year-old daughter and it’s great because I can bike to work and just be close to my family. That’s important to me. Fort Langley is the birth place of B.C. and it’s turned into this community that really embraces creativity and entrepreneurialism. It’s full of awesome small businesses and I feel like Jelly really fits in well here. Finally, we’re so central. We’re close to the highway, kind of in the middle between Vancouver and the Valley. We can easily serve our clients across Greater Vancouver and the whole of North America.

Where’s your favourite spot to grab a bite?

It’s a given that it’s Trading Post, but when I want to change it up, I’m a huge fan of Lee’s and their homemade sandwiches. I buy a bag of chips and an avocado sometimes and they put it right in for me. That’s what I call delicious service.

What’s your favourite memory of Jelly so far?

Everyday is a fun memory! No, that’s a hard question. It would probably have to be when Snapchat came to visit. They’re this big company and globally known brand that keeps growing by leaps and bounds and they chose to take the time to recognize Jelly. They came and spent an afternoon with us and it was pretty special.

What’s your favourite memory from the new space so far?

My favourite memory of the new space is not so much of a memory, but more of a favourite thing. My favourite thing about the new space is that we work in a converted house. It does’t feel like your typical office and makes for a great work environment.

Where’s your favourite spot to grab a bite?

I love going to Lee’s Market for a custom made sandwich (typically ham and cheese on a croissant) but I think my favourite spot to grab a bite is Trading Post Eatery. What’s the best menu item you ask? Well of course its the F.C.S!

What’s your favourite memory from the new space so far?

I’ve only ever worked in this space but my favourite thing is that it’s such a homey and inviting space – probably because it used to be a house. From the moss Jelly sign right as you walk in to the mirror messages in the bathroom, it’s quirky and it’s unique and sums up Jelly so perfectly.

Where’s your favourite spot to grab a bite?

I am beyond addicted to the Euphoria cafe. They have white chocolate macadamia nut cookies that are half-dipped in white chocolate… It’s deliciously dangerous. Other than that, I’m surrounded by coffee roasters, craft breweries and gourmet food markets. There’s an endless supply of goodies to be tried.

What’s your favourite memory of Jelly so far?

I think my favourite memory isn’t just a singular moment in time. It’s being able to feel so welcomed as the newest member of the team. From day one, I’ve felt like I’ve belonged. It’s a good feeling to have, especially with such a small, close-knit team.

What’s your favourite memory from the new space so far?

My favourite part is my desk actually. It’s got a double screen, a comfortable, but not too comfortable chair, and it’s situated in the corner. If I want I can turn around and see everyone, but if I’m busy, I can turn around and focus. It’s the perfect spot to be super productive.

Where’s your favourite spot to grab a bite?

My teammates know that I love to sample Fort Langley’s food options. I’ve probably been to 90% of eateries around town so it’s hard to pick a favourite. But the two that standout for me are Trading Post when I’m feeling fancy. Otherwise, the Montreal Steak sandwich from Lee’s is probably my favourite meal.

It’s always getting ‘dem snaps’ from Amaan through the conference window!
