TIFF is currently one of Canada’s top international events. Every year the global film industry descends upon Toronto to celebrate the best in film. But TIFF is not just about the week-long festival. That’s where Sal Patel comes in. In his role, Patel leads the strategy and production of TIFF’s original content year round.
On the show, Darian and Sal chat about how TIFF uses live video to invite the world to the festival, the use of video on different social platforms, Instagram as an emerging video platform, and the idea of ‘always following the growth.’
