Studiothink is a Vancouver web design and branding agency. As friends of Jelly, we wanted to introduce the agency to our followers. So, we reached out to Sherry Jacobi, the Creative Director and Founding Partner of Studiothink to find out more about this awesome company!
What do you do?
Studiothink is a creative branding agency. We work with corporations, manufacturers and property developers to strategize and design websites, logos and all of the marketing materials needed to create an effective brand.
What is your passion?
We are passionate about creating brand leaders.
What is the biggest misconception clients have about your brand?
The biggest misconception clients have is that we only provide one piece of their brand, for example, a logo, or a website. Although we do create those pieces, we actually offer a much more integrated approach to branding—meaning we build brands from the ground up and design and develop numerous pieces. To create ROI from a brand, you have to incorporate multiple facets, and that’s where we really excel.
We work with clients to strategize and produce all of the marketing materials they need, ensuring that all of the marketing ties together, and that we are creating a brand that not only tells their story but is recognizable and memorable.
What is your biggest challenge when it comes to your business?
The biggest challenge we face is how to maintain our high standard of quality as we grow. As we add team members, we have had to learn to adapt, change our processes and be flexible in order to achieve and maintain the level of quality we expect, and, that our clients expect. We are continually evaluating and modifying our processes to ensure we are delivering premium service and quality. It might be a challenge for us, but it is absolutely worth the effort.
What is your biggest achievement so far?
Our biggest achievement so far is the fact that we have grown this company into a successful enterprise that has an amazing company culture. Employees want to be here, clients want to be here, and together we produce some stunning brands. It’s an amazing feeling when it all comes together.
How do you handle failure?
I don’t think any business would be successful if failure wasn’t a daily occurrence. We are masters at learning from failures, correcting our direction, and trying again. If we weren’t, I don’t think we’d have such a successful company. Oh, and I drink wine, that helps.
What would you be doing if you didn’t do this?
I was born to create, and I love seeing ideas come to life. So if I wasn’t doing it in this field, I’m sure I’d be manifesting that in another field—food, architecture, clothing…..who knows!
